Professional Experience

Pinkerton Academy, Derry, NH 1981-Present
      Tennis Program Coordinator, Boys’ Head Tennis Coach
Responsible for selecting, training, coaching 18-24 boys ages 14-18. Range of players from 1.5 to 5.0. Training programs include aerobic, plyometric, and weight training. Heavy emphasis on mental imagery and Loehr technique for positive mental results. Sat on NHIAA tennis committee 1985.

      Achievements
• NH large school team state finalist 1994 and 1995, and 2002 (undefeated regular season); team state semifinalist 1996, 2001, and 2005; state singles quarterfinalist 1995,2003,and 2004.
• 17 players have gone on to play at the collegiate level in division IA, IAA, II, and III.
• Established both girls and boys programs; coached girls from 1981 to 1986.
• Originated successful summer youth program.
• Organized southern NH’s second largest summer public charity tennis tournament which has raised over $38,000.

Auburn Pines Tennis Club, Auburn, NH 1990-1992

     Head Tennis Professional
Developed, organized, and implemented all of club’s programs to include 3 tournaments, group clinics on basics and strategy, women’s traveling team, junior traveling team, mixers, and round robins. Maintained Har-tru courts both outdoors and indoors. Ran front desk.

• Recruited 75% of first year’s membership.
• Presented a “bare bones” club as a professional environment.
• Sacrificed personal financial gain to improve membership.

Sunapee Yacht Club, Sunapee, NH 1980-1981

     Head Tennis Professional
Ran all summer instructional programs to include junior traveling team, women’s traveling team, club tournaments, mixers and round robins. Owned and ran pro shop.
      Achievements
• Increased net profit of summer programs from $2,500 to $5,000.
