How Often Should You String Your Racket?
For casual players, an acceptable guideline is to strng your racket as many times per year as you play per week. For serious, competitive players, a better rule is to string your racket after every 10 to 15 hours of playing time.
How Does Tension Affect Power And Control?
String tension does not affect power (actual speed off the racket face) as one might think. However, to a point, looser tensions will give players greater depth on their shots and a "feeling" of power, while higher tensions will give players less depth on their shots and a sense of more "control" due to more feeback from ball impact.
